Gotta reassess France again.Barthez is totally wasting time every time he gets the ball.  But compared to a diving display by Portugal that would put Greg Louganis to shame, I'll take the time wasting.  Soccer must need more officials if...

Maybe I shouldn't hate soccer

After watching some of the quarterfinals on the weekend, I've adopted a less hostile attitude towards soccer, but not entirely.The France/Brazil match was great.  We could only hope to have more matches like that.  Zidane was brilliant... Even an idiot...

While I'm pretty consistently transfixed by the pure spectacle of the World Cup every four years, I'm just not much of a soccer/football convert.  I love the sight of the Ghanaian cab drivers in Toronto flying their flag proudly off...
