Geez, for a guy who professes to not know much about soccer (definitely true) and not even like it (I'm starting to doubt that), I'm sure posting a fair bit about it.  It is one of the world's biggest spectacles...

ITALY 1-1 FRANCE a.e.t 5-3 PSO

Fantastic game in many respects... But given my previous posts on sportsmanship, Zidane's complete meltdown cannot go unmentioned.  What.... the... hell... was... he... thinking!...

Maybe I shouldn't hate soccer

After watching some of the quarterfinals on the weekend, I've adopted a less hostile attitude towards soccer, but not entirely.The France/Brazil match was great.  We could only hope to have more matches like that.  Zidane was brilliant... Even an idiot...
